My name is Lisa Hardy, and I am the owner of Clough View Farm Bed And Breakfast. Based near Matlock, Derbyshire, I take pride in offering well-equipped apartments in relaxing surroundings. In 2019, my bed-and-breakfast appeared on the Channel 4 show “Four In A Bed” (Series 14, Episode 22), which brought in a lot of custom. Guests love staying here, so get in touch today with any enquiries that aren’t covered below.
Apartments
My house has two apartments, one on the ground floor, and another on the top floor. The ground-floor apartment can sleep 3 people, and the other apartment is available only as part of the same booking, i.e., if more than 3 people want to stay.
Additionally, the ground-floor apartment has a patio, and the upper apartment has a balcony, each with their own tables and chairs. We also have a patio on the middle level of our property, with a picnic table and extensive views of our farm.
Amenities
Both apartments are well equipped with amenities, including:

Breakfast
I provide freshly cooked full-English and continental breakfasts for guests. All meat and produce are sourced from local butchers and farmers. There is also a cold breakfast buffet, including muesli, granola, dried fruit, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, and a vast selection of nuts. I also make a lovely yogi berry glory – a Greek yoghurt berry compote served in a knickerbocker glory glass – which has been a real hit with guests before and after lunch.
Upon check-in, I will ask you to complete an allergen sheet to cross off any breakfast items you don’t want (i.e., black pudding, beans, etc) or notify me of any dietary needs such as allergies or vegan or vegetarian preferences.
Please Note
Unfortunately, I only accept children over the age of 13 as guests. Also, we do not accept any dogs or pets, as we live on a farm with livestock – sheep see any dog as a threat and this may cause them stress and injury.
