Inside the Apartment
The ground-floor apartment has two bedrooms. The first is a pretty single bedroom with a French-themed interior and an antique, bow-fronted set of drawers. The second room houses a high, king-size bed with a memory foam mattress to comfort your weary limbs.
With a contemporary interior, the apartment mixes traditional and modern furniture, from the bar fridge to the leather-bound writing desk and printer. There is also free Wi-Fi and a selection of books for avid readers. We also stock various types of luxury tea, coffee, and hot chocolate.
A separate area of the apartment leads you from both bedrooms into the hall, which has three sections for each guest’s clothes. Here, you will also find soft towels, fluffy bathrobes, and complimentary shampoo and shower gel provided. Easily accessible from either the single or king-size room, the bathroom is fitted with a toilet, shower, and hand basin.
Hearty and Delicious Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the kitchen attached to the bedroom suite, which opens in the morning. I offer flexible breakfast serving times to accommodate your schedule, getting up as early or as late as you like. Seating up to eight people, the breakfast area is a lovely place to enjoy a hearty morning meal.
There are various pre-breakfast options available, including toast, jams and preserves, cereal, granola, muesli, and breakfast biscuits. Drinks include herbal teas, coffees from a professional machine, fresh orange juice, or water. To set you up for the day ahead, the breakfast menu is full of delicious and filling food, including an all-you-can-eat farmer’s breakfast that is tailored to your preference. I also cater for vegan and vegetarian guests, as well as any medical dietary requirements you may have – please let me know upon booking.
At Clough View Farm Bed And Breakfast, only the best locally sourced ingredients will do for a great cooked breakfast. The reputable Coates butchers supply sausages, bacon, and black pudding, and R G Morris & Son supplies fish. Additionally, I have travelled all over Staffordshire to find the best oatcakes, which I source from a shop that has been open for more than 100 years.
